Mango Bravo by Conti's |
Mother dear celebrated her birthday last month, and as I always do, I bought her a birthday cake. Last year, I got her Grandma's Chocolate Cake from Purple Oven, this time it's Mango Bravo by Conti's.
One of Conti's bestselling cakes, Mango Bravo is available in two sizes: Mini (Php 665) and Regular (Php 1195).
Thinking about the amount of food that will be stored over the weekend, I bought the Mini.
Mango Bravo is a wafer-based cake with cream, topped with slices of ripe mangoes, with choco syrup and cashew nuts. Oh, this cake needs to be frozen, btw (super thanks to my friend Mike for taking me and my cake home safely. hehe.)
This cake is reminiscent of a good old' homemade Mango Float. I was surprised to find the sweetness not overwhelming, which is a good thing because my parents, particularly Father dear, aren't fans of overly sugary desserts.
I personally enjoyed the Mango Bravo. This lovely cake is light and creamy, just the way I expect it to be. The sweet mangoes are a major plus too.

I'm happy Mother dear liked her birthday cake. We might need a bigger fridge if we're getting the bigger Mango Bravo though. :) I'd love to try Conti's other delectable cakes next time, the cheesecakes were hard to ignore. :p

DeleteI haven't tried that one yet. Though, I've already heard a lot from other people on how it really tastes good. I'm not a fan of fruits with chocolate but I think I should give this a shot. And oh, how big is the mini size? Is it good for 1 person only? :)
ReplyDeleteThis is the best cake I've eaten so far. And also the Mango Royale Salad is great. Hope you can post a review about it. :)

ReplyDeleteIt looks so yummy! So sweet of you, I am sure your Mother loved the cake I would love it too if my kids gave me a cake, that look so mouth-watering although I have not tried Conti's Yet, I know I feel like I am missing a lot based on your review and from other people I hear how they totally recommended Conti's Mango Bravo. It makes me really want to buy one for my birthday this coming September or I hope someone will also gift me cakes from Conti's. What other flavors would you recommend?
ReplyDeleteI love Conti's Mango Bravo. All ingredients go well together, the wafer-based cake, cream, choco syrup and most especially refreshing is the generous topping of ripe mangoes.
ReplyDeleteBelated happy birthday to your mom, michymoo!
