If you've been reading this blog for quite a while, you would notice that I don't have many posts from restos around The Fort area. It's because I rarely visit the area. But when I do, I make sure my visit would be worth it.
I recently went to The Fort with a fellow foodie, KC, to the newly-opened restaurant chain Quiznos.
Quiznos is an American quick-serve chain known for serving toasted subs or submarine sandwiches. Their Fort branch is their flagship store in the country, and they're opening more branches around the metro soon.
How do you order a sub?
How do you order a sub?
First, you choose which size you want: Small (5"), Regular (8") or Large (11")
Then choose the type of bread: Artisan Wheat, Italian White, or Rosemary Parmesan.

You may also choose chips from Frito Lay as sides to your sub.
We tried three Regular subs in Rosemary Parmesan. We had two Signature subs: Chicken Carbonara (Php 185) and Pulled Pork with BBQ Sauce (Php 185).

Pulled Pork with BBQ |
Chicken Carbonara has chicken, bacon, mozzarella cheese, sauteed mushroom, and parmesan alfredo sauce. Pulled Pork with BBQ sauce also has cheddar cheese and lettuce. I liked the crunch of the lettuce from the Pulled Pork but I also liked the mildness of the flavor of Chicken Carbonara.
We also a Savory Steak flavor, the Double Cheese Cheesesteak (Php 295).

Double Cheese Cheesesteak |
The Double Cheese Cheesesteak has sauteed onions, mayonnaise, and double all-natural Swiss cheese and steak. I find the meat quite tender and loved the melted Swiss cheese.
To add some flavor to the sub, you may add Quiznos' Batch 83 Four Pepper Chili Sauce, which we lovingly call "Siopao Sauce" (go figure out why). :P

For dessert, we each had a Chocolate Fudge Cookie (Php 35). The cookie was moist and wasn't too sweet for me.

Overall, Quiznos is quite an awesome experience. I find their prices reasonable and the sizes of the subs (regular and large) are good for sharing. I just wished they have fries or onion rings to go with the subs, though. I will definitely go back to try their other subs, in a nearer branch, perhaps? :)
